Procedure Description.

This procedure can be performed either through an incision inside the mouth or through an extern of incision under the chin. A gentle compression dressing and restricted diet containing mainly in liquids for the first two days is a required. fitting size implants are essential to the success of the procedure. Usually available implant materials are either silicone or polyethylene. Compared to silicone, which may have some mobility when pushed manually, polyethylene has the benefit of sticking to the bone.
